Jewelry business back

I purchased three cases of what I thought was broken jewelry at the thrift store for cheap. The idea was to salvage good parts and make new items. However, a lot of things were in perfect condition- just tangled. These Christian necklaces and cuff bracelets are $10 each + $3 shipping. PayPal to
The middle cuff bracelet has been sold. I'm still working on getting this all up.

CPS Reform in Texas

A New York based child advocacy group, as well as Governor Abbott, have filed a class action lawsuit against Texas CPS- not just for reform, but for a complete reconstitution.  You can read an article about it here,  an article about CPS's appeal here, and if you are really motivated and want to read the whole ruling, here it is.

One of the stipulations is that if passed, the reform efforts will require ALL children in PMC (Permanent Managing Conservatorship) to have a CASA or Child Advocate.  I did CASA for 6 years before I was a CPS worker.  I don't go back into it honestly, because for one thing, I am still healing from working with abused children.   For another thing, when I go to testify in court as a CASA or Child Advocate, I do not want to run into people I worked with at CPS.  I don't want to say hi to them, I don't want to tell them what I'm doing there, and I don't want to update them on my life.

In the past, CASA has only worked with kids in Temporary (TMC).  Being required to service all kids in the state PMC would put them grossly understaffed and underfunded.  So I decided that IF this ruling passes, I will rejoin CASA to help out.  I can't not do it.

I emailed some of the powers that be at Child Advocates, and they honestly had no idea what I was talking about.  They thought I wanted to take a case right now.  I had to educate them about this class action lawsuit, the part that involves them, and how I am only considering doing it if the ruling passes.  I still think they don't get it.  I should have never emailed them!

Will someone please draw a circle on my wall with the words "bang head here"??

Respiratory Therapy Selfie

Bronchitis symptoms came back. I was in total denial about it until yesterday morning when I threw up, and there were streaks of blood.
I ran to the ER.
I got another chest X-ray, which was normal. I also had 5 minutes of respiratory therapy. People complain these days that people take selfies for every little thing, and that it's ridiculous. Oh well. I just wanted to.

Over the last couple of months, because of tourettes, I have had a deep exhale tic. This has been exacerbating my lung stuff. I laid in bed last night and really concentrated on not doing the tic. It was great. When I do it, I either wheeze during it, or get a sharp pain in my back. Tourettes causes a lot of injuries.

Here are some screen shots I took of breathing tic info.

Hilarious troll

Trolling on the Internet is starting to become something to laughed at instead of vehemently hated. I could not stop laughing yesterday at this Christmas hoax. This dude put ham over his dog's face and posted that he was burned trying to save family. 1 like= 1 prayer, and 1 share = 10 prayers. Facebook likes and shares have become currency for prayers. But poor dog indeed. If you look closely, you can see that he is drooling.
